So I had this problem. I was constantly going from one site to the next, referencing and cross-referencing so many different sites to find all the information I needed to help me select and buy wine.

I would scour the internet for Parker posts and WS reviews, and try desperately to find vintage charts and other information.  All of this was, of course, for the sole purpose of making sure I didn’t blow a ton of money on a bad wine. And I am quite sure a number of folks out there do the same thing every day. Additionally, while there is a ton of information out there, sometimes Google and Yahoo don’t take you to exactly where you want to be. They don’t necessarily serve up the best stuff, but instead just the most optimized by the SEO fanatics out there. Not that I can blame them on that one.

So I decided that maybe I could make a site that would fill that need. Be that someone to collect all of the data and put it all in one place so you don’t have to go out to 20 different sites, or have a million bookmarks that ultimately are wiped out or forgotten about. Maybe I could help out the majority of us who don’t have the million-dollar palates of the famous critics? Can I pull together all of those critics’ thoughts into one place to start making sense of it all? That’s the plan anyway…

Well, I don’t quite have everything up perfect and going yet, but since this is something I hope to expand on as the site grows, it will surely be there soon. So check back often to see what’s new and the latest additions. After seeing how much is already out there on the web, I’m not exactly sure where I’ll fit it all in the first place.
